Before you begin any journey, there is always a decision to be made. You must be prepared to except the consequences of that decision whatever they are. To read a book is a journey, from which you will return as someone who may have changed, maybe only slightly, almost imperceptibly even to those who know you intimately, but never the less there will be a change from the way you were before you began the journey. A book can inspire you to do those things you have not done, but should have- or transport you to places where you thought you would never go, or conjugate disparate thoughts about things you never dared think about before. I found this to be a tender and considered examination of the psychological roots and emotional impact of incest. A compelling read from beggining to end.
